Our Team
Scott Fulton – Founder, CTO and Board Member
Scott has 30 years of experience in the life science and biopharmaceutical industry. He has B.S .degrees from MIT in physics and applied biology, and an M.S. from MIT in biomedical engineering. He has been responsible for the development, marketing and technical and sales support of over 15 separation media, instrumentation and process system product lines at Amicon and PerSeptive Biosystems. He was Chief Technical Officer at SolmeteX, a start-up developing advanced wastewater treatment systems. He then became Vice President of Program Management at Genzyme Transgenics (now GTC Biotherapeutics), directing programs with major biotech and pharmaceutical companies to develop manufacturing of recombinant proteins in the milk of transgenic dairy animals.
Robert Sakowski - Executive VP Operations and Engineering, and Board Member
Robert has BS degrees from the University of Wisconsin in physics, chemistry and mathematics, as well as an MS degree from the UW in physics. He worked for a number of years in the analytical chemistry group at Rayovac. He then founded and ran Ecoenergy Enterprises, an electronics development and manufacturing company, for over 20 years. Most recently he was, for 6 years, Director of Advanced Development Engineering and Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Gammex, a medical device company. In this role he managed the development, transfer to manufacturing and ISO 9000 quality control of a number of complex materials, optics and mechanical systems products.
Cynthia Rose – Chief Financial Officer
Cindy brings to the company a strong background in finance, operations and technology with over 20 years experience in various executive level positions, including strategic planning, governance, fund raising, systems analysis, process re-engineering and budgets; working primarily with early stage companies. She holds a BS degree in accounting from UW La Crosse, graduating summa cum laude.
John Lindsay - Sales/Marketing Consultant
John has over 28 years of sales, sales management, marketing and business development experience in the life science tools market. He was at Millipore for 14 years, ending as VP World Wide Sales for the Milligen/Biosearch Division. He also held senior sales and marketing management positions at PerSeptive Biosystems, Comdisco and Cohesive Technologies. He currently specializes in the introduction of new products in the life science tools industry. John holds a BA from Marquette University.
Thomas R. Londo, Ph.D. - Senior Technical Consultant
Thomas received his Ph.D. and M.S in physico-analytical Chemistry from Colorado State University. He is the former Chief Scientific Officer at Parker Life Sciences - a unit of Parker Hannifin Corporation with revenues in excess of $9.4 billion. He has also held senior positions in technology and product development at Beyond Genomics, Applied Biosystems, PerSeptive Biosystems and Hybritech. He has considerable expertise in the fields of chromatography, mass spectrometry, immunoassay, laboratory robotics, instrumentation control software and statistical experiment design.
Board Members
Kevin Moraski
Kevin is currently Vice President of Operations Excellence at Ministry Health Care. Kevin brings a broad range of experience in manufacturing operations, product development, service operations, service development, and consulting from over 20 years of combined experience at General Motors, General Electric, PRTM, and Ministry Health Care. Kevin has B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Meru Thakur
Meru has 25 years of experience in managing strategic technology initiatives at Mellon Bank, Conrail, Verizon and IBM. His consulting experience includes advising senior management on technology investment, integration and governance at Pfizer, American Airlines, Investors Bank and Trust, and American Express. Meru has an MBA and a PhD from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
